We are looking for a self-motivated and energetic business development executive to be based in our office in Milan and to relocate in Greece when the customer base will be consolidated in the respective countries.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Ø To conduct a comprehensive market analysis, with specific reference to the shipping industry and marine sector during the first stage;
Ø To organise meetings and events with the most representative players;
Ø To focus on new business development and to support the operation centre to manage the existing customer base;
Ø To single out any business opportunities from the contacts with the Clients;
Ø To lay the ground base to open a full fledged Weathernews branch.
IDEAL CANDIDATES
Ø Greek native speakers leaving in Milan or surrounding areas.
Ø Fluency in English (oral and written) is mandatory. Italian would be a strong plus but it is not binding;
Ø Age between 25 and 28;
Ø Availability to travel extensively to Greece;
Ø Ready to relocate in Greece in due course;
Ø Outstanding customer facing skills and ability to deal with senior management negotiations;
Ø At least 2 years experience in the service sector;
Ø Ability to work under stress with no major constraints;
Ø PC literate, proficient in using MS Office and Internet;

Αναζητούμε νέες και νέους με ενθουσιασμό για να εργαστούν στο πρόγραμμα Direct Dialogue, ως εκπρόσωποι του WWF Ελλάς. Οι ομάδες εκπροσώπων θα δραστηριοποιούνται κυρίως σε κεντρικά σημεία της Αθήνας με σκοπό την προσέγγιση του κόσμου και την εξεύρεση νέων υποστηρικτών.
Η απασχόληση θα είναι 6 ώρες την ημέρα (11:00 – 17:00), με σταθερή αμοιβή και bonus αποδοτικότητας. Η αρχική διάρκεια του προγράμματος είναι 5 εβδομάδες, υπάρχει όμως η δυνατότητα απασχόλησης και σε επόμενα προγράμματα. Περιστασιακά, το σημείο απασχόλησης μπορεί να μεταφερθεί και σε άλλους χώρους (π.χ. εκδηλώσεις, φεστιβάλ, περιοχές εκτός δήμου Αθηνών) και με διαφορετικό ωράριο (απογεύματα, Σαββατοκύριακα).
Μέσω της εκπαίδευσης που θα σου προσφέρουμε, θα ενημερωθείς για τη δράση μας, τα περιβαλλοντικά προβλήματα της χώρας μας, ενώ παράλληλα, θα μπορέσεις να αναπτύξεις τις επικοινωνιακές σου ικανότητες (προσέγγιση, επιχειρηματολογία, κ.λπ.). Επιπλέον, μέσω της εργασίας αυτής, θα γνωρίσεις ανθρώπους που μοιράζονται τις ίδιες ανησυχίες και θα προσφέρεις έργο σε μία από τις σημαντικότερες περιβαλλοντικές ΜΚΟ παγκοσμίως.

Your key responsibilities:

• Building an OGC web map-service, which is based on the nominated geospatial datasets, which
Incorporates load balancing and fail-over techniques between the three institute sites;
• Production of the final report on the pilot-study, which includes details about necessary optimized
Workflows and procedures for synchronization of selected geospatial datasets between the institutions, as
well as details about the lessons learned from testing of the web map service;
• Demonstration of the value of geospatial content replication by building an OGC Web Map Service

• Delivery of the Final report detailing the lessons learned from the replication prototype and optimized
Workflows, procedures, and best practices for synchronization of selected geospatial datasets between the
Institutions, as well as detailing the lessons learned from testing of the web map service.

Your skills:
• University or technical degree with minimum four years experience in IT;
• Experience of at least two years with Management of Large Spatial Databases including ESRI ArcSDE
v9.2, with both Oracle (9i & 10g) and MS SQL Server DBMS;
• Experience of at least two years with High Load map service customization and delivery (including OGC)
With ESRI ArcGisServer v9.2 and ESRI ArcIMS v9.2;

Το έργο εντάσσεται στο Γ’ Κοινοτικό Πλαίσιο Στήριξης και συγχρηματοδοτείται από το Ευρωπαϊκό Κοινωνικό Ταμείο (με στόχο την προώθηση της απασχολησιμότητας και την επένδυση σε ανθρώπινους πόρους) και από Εθνικούς πόρους. (δ) Υποστήριξη φοιτητών/αποφοίτων στα παραπάνω θέματα
(ε) Διοργάνωση εκδηλώσεων με την παραπάνω θεματολογία
(στ) Συνεργασίες με φορείς, πρεσβείες κ.λ.π. στις παραπάνω θεματικές ενότητες
(ζ) Αναζήτηση και καταγραφή υλικού για σύνδεση σπουδών και αγοράς εργασίας
(η) Συνεργασία με τη Δευτεροβάθμια εκπαίδευση για προβολή των σπουδών στο Πανεπιστήμιο Πειραιώς
(θ) Ενημέρωση φοιτητών/αποφοίτων για σεμινάρια, πρακτική άσκηση κ.ά. που διοργανώνονται από τρίτους.

Θα συνεκτιμηθεί εμπειρία στην υλοποίηση ευρωπαϊκών προγραμμάτων ή/και στο αντικείμενο του Γραφείου Διασύνδεσης.

Essential qualifications:
· University degree in Information Technology, Applied Informatics in Businesses or a similar subject
· Minimum of two years’ experience in IT system projects or similar programmes, ideally in the field of eProcurement / eGovernment or equivalent
· Excellent knowledge of English and proven ability to write, compile and present professional-level reports and deliverables
· Ability to participate and chair meetings with clients

Desirable qualifications:
· Knowledge and experience in methodologies for applying IT solutions to businesses
· Experience in end-user and administrators training
· Familiarity with multi-tier, web-based applications
· Knowledge of J2EE technologies

EUROPEAN DYNAMICS is looking to recruit for its offices in Athens an eProcurement / eGovernment Technical Consultant.

Job description:
The successful candidate will join a team of experts responsible for the design, implementation and deployment of an IT eProcurement solution for a public administration in the European Union. Apart from the technical implementation of the system, the project will entail the provision of business consultancy, undertaking promotional activities, taking initiatives for the organisational change of the beneficiary, in order to make the optimum use of the new IT system, completing end-user and administration training, etc. During project execution, the successful candidate will contribute in the following:
· Liaison with partners for the effective internal and external project coordination
· Collection and documentation of legislative nature and user requirements
· Analysis of requirements and definition of system specifications
· Monitoring and control of development teams
· System functional and non-functional testing
· Compilation of document deliverables

Essential qualifications:
· University degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
· Minimum of two years’ experience in IT system implementation projects, ideally in the field of eProcurement / eGovernment or equivalent
· Excellent knowledge of English and proven ability to write, compile and present professional-level reports and deliverables

Desirable qualifications:
· Knowledge of UML and experience in methodologies for capturing/describing requirements and system specifications
· Familiarity with multi-tier, web-based applications
· Knowledge of J2EE technologies
· Knowledge of security policies both for hardware and software
