The Diploma in Business Studies is a vocational training title in its own respect, that demonstrates your ability to meet ongoing demands in the job market. ...and academic path the Diploma in Business Studies carries also 9 credits that you can transfer to undergraduate studies at the Hellenic American University (Bachelor of Science in Business Administration). Reduced fees for registration by August 6 The Diploma in Business Studies as well as the certificates in Management, Marketing Management, and Public Relations start early October 2009. The programs are offered for the third time by the Hellenic American Union, and the Hellenic American University. Take advantage of the early registration fee, which is valid until August 6, 2009. The early registration fee is fully covered by the LAEK subsidy, if you participate through your employer. Diploma in Business Studies The flexible program aims at providing you with an appropriate combination of academic theory, and practical business applications and skills to assist your career advancement. It is your opportunity to develop expertise and increase your effectiveness. To earn the Diploma you need to meet the requirements of the three certificate programs (Management, Marketing Management, Public Relations) and then pass a 3-hour written examination. Learn more... Certificate in Management, 6/10/09 - 9/3/10, Tuesday 18:30-21:30 During the 60-hour program you will develop an understanding of market-oriented management thinking. You will analyze management concepts, functions and models and their use in the business world and will develop decision-making skills. Learn more... Certificate in Marketing Management, 8/10/09 - 11/3/10, Thursday 18:30-21:30 During the 60-hour program you will increase your understanding of the major issues in strategic, tactical, and administrative marketing, along with the major trends and forces that impact this dynamic and ever-changing field. You will deal with marketing principles, strategies, activities and trends. Learn more... Certificate in Public Relations, 5/10/09 - 8/3/10, Monday 18:30-21:30 During this 60-hour program you will get a comprehensive overview of public relations concepts, processes, and applications.
