EUROPEAN DYNAMICS is looking to recruit for its offices in Athens an eProcurement / eGovernment Business Consultant.


Job description:
The successful candidate will join a team of experts responsible for the design, implementation and deployment of an IT eProcurement solution for a public administration in the European Union. Apart from the technical implementation of the system, the project will entail the provision of business consultancy, undertaking promotional activities, taking initiatives for the organisational change of the client, in order to make the optimum use of the new IT system, completing end-user and administration training, etc. During project execution, the successful candidate will contribute in the following:
· Liaison with project partners for the effective internal and external project coordination
· Collection and documentation of legislative nature and user requirements
· Definition of strategies and completion of activities for the promotion of the new IT system
· Definition of policies and undertaking of initiatives for changing the day-to-day operation of the beneficiary, for the effective transition from current practices to new practices which make use of the new IT system
· Definition of plans and completion of activities for end-user and administrators training
· Compilation of document deliverables

Essential qualifications:
· University degree in Information Technology, Applied Informatics in Businesses or a similar subject
· Minimum of two years’ experience in IT system projects or similar programmes, ideally in the field of eProcurement / eGovernment or equivalent
· Excellent knowledge of English and proven ability to write, compile and present professional-level reports and deliverables
· Ability to participate and chair meetings with clients

Desirable qualifications:
· Knowledge and experience in methodologies for applying IT solutions to businesses
· Experience in end-user and administrators training
· Familiarity with multi-tier, web-based applications
· Knowledge of J2EE technologies
