EUROPEAN DYNAMICS is looking to recruit for its offices in Athens an eProcurement / eGovernment Technical Consultant.

Job description:
The successful candidate will join a team of experts responsible for the design, implementation and deployment of an IT eProcurement solution for a public administration in the European Union. Apart from the technical implementation of the system, the project will entail the provision of business consultancy, undertaking promotional activities, taking initiatives for the organisational change of the beneficiary, in order to make the optimum use of the new IT system, completing end-user and administration training, etc. During project execution, the successful candidate will contribute in the following:
· Liaison with partners for the effective internal and external project coordination
· Collection and documentation of legislative nature and user requirements
· Analysis of requirements and definition of system specifications
· Monitoring and control of development teams
· System functional and non-functional testing
· Compilation of document deliverables

Essential qualifications:
· University degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
· Minimum of two years’ experience in IT system implementation projects, ideally in the field of eProcurement / eGovernment or equivalent
· Excellent knowledge of English and proven ability to write, compile and present professional-level reports and deliverables

Desirable qualifications:
· Knowledge of UML and experience in methodologies for capturing/describing requirements and system specifications
· Familiarity with multi-tier, web-based applications
· Knowledge of J2EE technologies
· Knowledge of security policies both for hardware and software
