EUROPEAN DYNAMICS is looking to recruit for its offices in Athens a J2EE Developer / Software Engineer.


Job description:
The successful candidate will join a team of experts responsible for the design, implementation and deployment of an IT eProcurement solution for a public administration in the European Union. Apart from the technical implementation of the system, the project will entail the provision of business consultancy, undertaking promotional activities, taking initiatives for the organisational change of the beneficiary, in order to make the optimum use of the new IT system, completing end-user and administration training, etc. During project execution, the successful candidate will contribute in the following:
· Software implementation
· System functional and non-functional testing
· Compilation of technical deliverables

Essential qualifications:
· Qualification in Information Technology, or a similar subject
· Experience in IT system implementation projects
· Good knowledge of English
· Good knowledge and proven ability to develop advanced software applications using J2EE technologies
· Familiarity with multi-tier, web-based applications

Desirable qualifications:
· Knowledge of UML
· Knowledge of some of the following technologies: Oracle Application and Database servers, Struts, Hibernate, Ant, BouncyCastle, AJAX, XML
