Being the contractor of several framework contracts for the European Commission and many other EU institutions and organizations, we undergo actually through a massive international recruitment campaign in order to successfully deliver our projects.

Consequently, we wish to employ a Project Manager in order to successfully deliver his outstanding quality services in the European Commission’s premises in Brussels.

Your key responsibilities:

• On-time delivery as well as required quality of application;
• Co-ordination of an Internal Development Team (up to 12 members);
• Recruitment, knowledge management, project planning, scheduling activities and follow-up;
• Whole IT application development life-cycle: from initial analysis to transition phase;
• Implementation and promotion of quality processes (Project Quality Plan, Change control, Configuration
Management);
• Interface to other contractors, reports to Project Officer;
• Control of project requirements, in relation with Business Analyst;
• Contact with Business owners;
• Understanding of the overall architecture (J2EE), technical design, set of services, tools and guidelines
Supporting the development, integration and running of application – in relation with Technical Architect.

Your skills:
• University or technical degree;• Minimum 6 years experience in IT;
• Minimum 4 years experience in RUP methodology, PRINCE2 and TEMPO;
• Minimum 2 years experience in project management in the software development area;
• Experience in writing documents and making presentations;
• Knowledge of Web-content Management, Web applications (preferably in J2EE);
• Knowledge of document management, indexing and search engine, collaboration tools;
• Technical background in Java (J2EE, Weblogic);
• Technical background in Oracle (Oracle Text,Oracle XMLDB),XML,XSD,XSLT;
• Knowledge of supporting Tools: Mercury Quality Center, Mercury Quick Test Pro, Requisite Pro,CVS;
• Knowledge of Office Tools: Excel (Pivot Tables), Word, PowerPoint;
• Ability to communicate in English and/or in French.
